Use a guide while you read
Start with the chapter or section your reader has finished. Ask a few questions, give them time to explain, and return to the story together to find evidence. Where a guide includes answers, use them to support discussion rather than replacing your reader’s explanation.
Each guide lists its available resources. Use vocabulary and writing prompts when they are included, and look for the download area if you want a printable version. Page numbers can vary between editions.

Reading levels and book requests
Guided Reading Levels use criteria developed by Dr. Irene Fountas and Dr. Gay Su Pinnell. Rise to Reading uses classifications from other sources rather than assigning its own levels. A level is shown only when one is available; not every book has been classified.
Looking for a book that is not listed? Request a book guide and tell us which title you would like to see.
