Medea lives at home with her father and aunt; she overheard her aunt, Circe, prophesy a boy would try to steal her father’s Golden Fleece as well as steal her heart; Circe suggests Medea go with her to Mount Olympus Academy but her dad didn’t want her to; Medea is confident her aunt will convince her father so she started packing p.1
Chapter 2
- Describe Medea and Glauce’s relationship. Glauce pretends to be Medea’s friend, but she isn’t a very good one; she embarrasses her, insults her, makes her feel bad about herself; Medea calls her a frenemy because Glauce is sometimes her friend and sometimes her enemy p.18
